I am a computational scientist at the Allen Institute for Cell Science.
I use imaging, computer vision, machine learning, and simulations to study how living organisms sculpt functional 3D structures across scales through choreographed pattern generation—work that aims to guide the design and control of engineered multicellular living systems.
My most recent work is focused on 3D cell geometry—its spatiotemporal patterning and links to tissue mechanics—in developing neuroepithelial tissues.
